DALJINDER BAL

Integrative Psychotherapist

After completing a Psychology BSc (Hons) degree, I trained as a Psychotherapist at Regent’s University London from 2010-2017. I have 11 years’ of experience working with both young people and adults on a one-to-one basis in the private and public sectors. My approach to counselling and psychotherapy is working collaboratively to create a safe, supportive and non-judgemental space to enable clients to learn more about themselves and empower them to create positive, long-lasting change.

WHY I PRACTISE

I have always been fascinated by what makes us think, feel and behave in the way we do.
Through both personal and clinical experience, I have learnt that we are shaped and
hardwired to be the people we are due to many factors that are outside of our control. This
can include our upbringing, messages we absorb from the world and our surroundings as
well as our genetic makeup. Even though we can’t change these factors, we don’t have to
let them hold us back. Counselling and psychotherapy can be one way to learn how to heal
from past and present difficulties in order to live healthy and fulfilling lives.
